
Caelyn Steele
Caelyn (she/her) is a Legal Assistant on the Real Estate Development team at Winthrop & Weinstein. She recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Sociology of Law, Criminology, & Justice, which has equipped her with the skills to integrate social justice, research, and policy advocacy into her professional role.
Passionate about increasing Black homeownership and closing the generational wealth gap, Caelyn recognizes the critical role of economic empowerment and access to homeownership in breaking cycles of poverty and inequality in Black communities. She actively engages in initiatives and advocacy efforts focused on promoting financial literacy, equitable housing policies, and community investment.
Additionally, Caelyn is dedicated to youth mentorship, believing in the importance of guiding and empowering the next generation. Her multifaceted approach to justice ensures that her efforts not only address immediate legal concerns but also contribute to long-term systemic change and uplift marginalized communities.
