A couple weeks ago, Cole Stevens and Walter Cortina had the honor of attending the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Probation Transformation Midwest convening in Chicago! 🙌 They connected with incredible leaders from across the Midwest, diving deep into the powerful work happening in juvenile justice reform. 🗣️💡

Special thanks to Elijah Norris-Holliday for inviting Walter to join his panel and lead a workshop where he shared his own experiences with the system. Plus, their visit to BUILD Chicago was beyond inspiring – seeing their dedication to gang intervention and youth development sparked the vision of Bridgemakers owning a community building one day! 💥✨

Bridgemakers is proud to announce our new monthly

Bridgemakers is proud to announce our new monthly networking event for young entrepreneurs and professionals: The Innovators Exchange. As we’re all about cultivating young leaders to transform our world and live with purpose, prosperity, and power, the innovators’ exchange will be a space for those young leaders to connect.

The Innovator’s Exchange is a space for young entrepreneurs and professionals to network, learn, and advance their unique missions. The premise is simple, and there are 3 primary goals of the event series:

1. Connect with other dedicated young professionals making their mark on the world.
2. Learn new skills and opportunities to develop purpose, prosperity and power.
3. Grow your network, and influence as a young professional.

For our first event, we will convene on the 19th floor of Osborn370 in Downtown Saint Paul. The Event will start at 11:30AM and go till 1PM, on Tuesday October 29th. Light drinks/snacks will be available.

The agenda is super simple:
11:30 AM - Meet cool people and have conversations!
12:00 PM - Bridgemakers updates, welcoming, and intentional networking tips
12:15 PM - Meet more cool people and have more conversations! (and snacks in-between)
1:00 PM - Leave, or help us clean up 🙂

The Innovators’ Exchange will be many things, but most importantly it will be built alongside you: the community. At each event, we will have exit surveys so that you can tell Bridgemakers’ staff about your experience directly. We will be taking feedback, suggestions and new ideas each month so that we can be sure to be responsive and build the ideal space and place for young innovators to connect and thrive!
